PQData.fi - Service

Tank Temperature, Tyre Pressures, Tank- and Fuel Level

PQData.fi -Service is as simple as a service can be, still being as sufficient as ever needed. Service is dedicated to remote control of moving machinery and transport vehicles due to freight temperature, tyre pressure, fuel- and tank level views.

Service is based on carefully chosen battery -operated devices that can be easily installed. Remote platform includes map views, list views and configurations for alert limits and alert contacts.

PQData.fi -Service is based on Bluetooth -sensors. Or atleast sensors we recommend are Bluetooth -sensors. Customer is welcome to use their own sensors with the service. Bluetooth -sensors are constantly scanned by a tracking unit capable to serve as Gateway. Vehicle location, heading and speed are sent with measurement data. Tractor and trailer -combo, requires one device. Battery operated devices are simple to install and they will sent sensor data also when tariler is disconnected. Wired ones may scan more rapid.

  • Installing battery operated units is super simple; battery life is counted in years.
  • Since location is always known, it can be added to alarm -messages.
  • Leak can occur after the trailer is parked and tyres cooled; battery operated device can detect this.
  • Temperature data from loaded, parked and diconnected trailer, is available.
  • Fuel is stolen mostly when vehicle is parked.

Platform is based on mapview (google) of assets and their movements (present and history), geofences and illustrative lists of freight temperatures and tyre pressures of your whole fleet. All serial -numbers for the sensors in tank and in each tyre are given here. Utilizing the service is as easy as it just can be.

  • Platform serves as installation tool for hardware.
  • Mobile applcation for the driver.
  • Mobile application serves also as a remote view since whole fleet is connected to same application.
  • Scanning devices are sending data from all sensors they can hear; not only from those connected to same vehicle. Very interesting feature!

Hardware

Tracking Units, Iot -Trackers, Scanners

  • REMORA3-4G, Battery operated tracker has abt. 5 years battery life in transport application scanning constantly sensors from environment. As waterproof, it can be installed anywhere in the trailer.
  • From our wired devices, G70-4G is the smallest. It provides a vehicle logbook -level tracking while continoustly scanning sensors.
  • If more complex system required, G150-4G is capable to handle almost any sensor customer wants the data from, while scanning the bluetooth sensors and ofcourse providing real time tracking.
  • Wired devices have their own backup batteries. They can alert on external power loss and provide measurement data also without external power. Batteries are charged during the trip.

Temperature Sensors

  • Even the smallest tag has very long batterylife; 5 - 15 years.
  • Tags are attached to outer wall of the tank (we are using glue) behind the traditional gauge. Same tag can also be used to measure all kinds of mediums.
  • Tags with probe can be installed inside the tank, prope has range up to +200 °C. Bluetooth antenna can be wired nicely outside from where tracking unit can hear it.
  • Line-of-sight -distance can be hundreds of meters; with installation behind the gauge, we have experienced 50 - 75m distances.

Tyre Pressure Sensors

  • Installation: Replaces valve cap
  • Batterylife of 2 years (depends on pressure fluctuation)
  • Serial Number will be written to platform (easy to utilize)
  • Temperature -range: -40 - +85 °C. We have seen higher temperatures!
  • Pressure -range: 0 - 13 bar
  • Alerts from leaks, high and low pressures and high temperature

Tank / Fuel -Sensors

  • Fuel -sensor to be installed outside, on the bottom of the tank
  • Tank material - All; Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Plastic, Fiberglass ...
    Thickness max 12mm.
  • Medium - All; Diesel, Gasoline, Water ...
  • Accuracy 0.1 mm.
  • Level range: 100cm (PQ212), 250cm (PQ212-E).
  • VDC: 9 - 36V.
  • Temperature range: -40 - 85℃.
